The handbook has been updated with the following information:

Digital Identity & Profile Standards:

1.2 Section: Digital Identity & Profile Standards

To maintain academic integrity and ensure the security of our learning environment, all students must adhere to the following Digital Identity standards. These records are used for attendance, grading, and the issuance of official certifications.

1. Official Name & Identity

Your account must always reflect your official name as provided during registration.

  • Administrative Notification: If a student wishes to change their display name or account identity, the Administration must be notified and approve the change before it is made.

  • Verification: Unauthorized changes to names that result in an administrator’s inability to identify the student will be considered a violation of the student code of conduct.

2. Mandatory Profile Photo

A clear, current, and recognizable headshot must remain on your profile at all times.

  • Enrollment Prerequisite: A valid profile photo is a requirement for enrollment. Students who do not have a photo uploaded will not be permitted to enroll in any classes.

  • Photo Quality: Please use a single-subject image. While it does not need to be a photo of yourself—landscapes or digital avatars are acceptable—group photos are not permitted. All images must be respectful; derogatory or offensive content is strictly prohibited.

3. Consequences of Non-Compliance

Identity standards are strictly enforced to protect the community and the validity of our credentials.

  • Removal from Courses: If a student changes their name without notification or removes their profile photo after a course has begun, they will be immediately removed from all active classes.

  • Loss of Progress: Removal from a course due to identity violations may result in the loss of unsaved progress or participation credits.

  • Reinstatement: To be reinstated, the student must correct the profile and receive manual verification from the Site Administrator.

4. Security of Credentials

Students are responsible for the security of their login credentials. Sharing account access with another individual or misrepresenting your identity is grounds for permanent dismissal from the academy.
